Under the In-House training scheme, the training is delivered solely for one employer. Training can be delivered by an Internal Trainer (Employee on the Payroll of the Employer); a Freelance Trainer; a Registered Training Institution or a Foreign Trainer. The course must be Mauritius Qualifications Authority (MQA) / Higher Education Commission (HEC) approved except where the training is delivered live-on-line by a Foreign Trainer. Eligible costs include trainer fees, cost of venue if training is conducted outside the employer’s premises, stationery and course materials, airfare and accommodation for foreign trainers for courses conducted locally.
