The Human Resource Development Council (HRDC) is conducting a study to gauge the skills needs of enterprises on the use of new technologies such as cloud computing, nano technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation, and their likely implications on their skills infrastructure. The findings from this study are expected to provide input to the HRDC and other institutions in the skills development system so as to proactively respond to the needs of enterprises through the development of skills development initiatives namely:
- mounting of courses / programmes;
- training of academics / trainers;
- supporting skills development at level of enterprises;
- review / design of related curriculum; and
- associated skills that would be required in their usage.
Enterprises and industry associations wishing to contribute to this exercise are invited to fill in the online survey accessible at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6VPWMGY.
