The Human Resource Development Council is hereby inviting Registered Industry Associations to submit applications to train unemployed individuals under the National Training and Reskilling Scheme (NTRS) in collaboration with their selected Registered Training Institutions.

Applications for training should be related to the current and forthcoming skills needs of their sector of activity.

Industry Associations are requested to contact the HRDC prior to submitting their application(s) for training. All applications must be submitted on the prescribed form, which is available under the “Downloads” section of the NTRS webpage at: ntrs.hrdc.mu

The NTRS is one of the schemes under the Economic Recovery Programme which targets to train some 9,000 unemployed persons in the following sectors:

• Agro-Industry;

• ICT/BPO;

• Construction;

• E-commerce;

• Precision Manufacturing;

• Renewable Energy & Circular Economy;

• Transport & Logistics;

• Aged, Disability and Social Care services

• Health Care & Medical Devices; and

• Other economic sectors.
