Launching ceremony of the National Skills Development Programme

The National Skills Development Programme (NSDP) was announced in the Budget Speech 2016/2017 with the aim to better match skills with the demand of employers by equipping young people with technical skills which are in high demand in the following sectors:
(i) ICT; (ii) Tourism and Hospitality; (iii) Nursing and Paramedics; and (iv) Construction and other industries.

The NSDP will be officially launched by Honourable (Mrs) Leela Devi Dookun-Luchoomun, Minister of Education and Human Resources, Tertiary Education and Scientific Research.
