NOTICE TO ALL EMPLOYERS & REGISTERED TRAINING CENTERS

Employers contributing to the HRDC Training Levy and Registered Training Centres are hereby informed that the Financial Year-end of the HRDC will change to 30 June as from 2016. The date limit for submission of claims for refund and the applicable grant ceiling are as follows:

1. For all courses, training programmes and workshops ending in the period 01 January 2016 to 30 June 2016, the applications for refund should reach the HRDC by 30 September 2016.
2. Applications for refund after the due date will be accepted, provided that the applications are fully completed and accompanied with all the relevant documents and are received at the HRDC within 2 months after the date limit of 30 September. A penalty of 25% of the amount refundable for the late application will be imposed.
3. The ceiling for grant refund covering the period 01 January 2016 to 30 June 2016 will be calculated on a pro-rata basis i.e. 6 months and based on the levy contributed in the year 2015.
