The Association des Transitaires Professionnelles (APT) in collaboration with the Human Resource Development Council (HRDC) is launching a short course in Seamless preparation of shipping documentation and legal aspect of freight forwarding under the Sectoral Skills Development Scheme (SSDS).

The training programme was developed and customised to meet the specific skills needs of the sector, and will be delivered by LM Institute.

35 participants from 10 organisations will be following the programme. The main objective of this training are to:

• skill employees working directly with business and commercial firms for their regular imports and exports both for air and sea mode;
• ensure that employees are skilled enough to manage flow of goods from vendors to buyers in a seamless way; and
• help facilitate the transactions of end customers by ensuring a perfect flow of their goods through precise and correct documentation and follow up of their consignments.
